Can eyes get better? Yes, but don't bet on it as it's a relatively rare event. Short-sighted people in their 30's - 40's can find their Rx going down, slowly, and longsighted people in their 60's can suddenly find their RX disappearaing. The latter is only temporarily good news, as it's due to early cataract formation.

Glasses all the time? Wearing glasses all the time is unnecessary unless you are happier that way (young children are a special case and need individual advice on this, to wear or not to wear at particular times). Even walking around in a complete blur is not medically damaging *to the eyes*. Injuries sustained because you didn't see something, that's something else. And driving comes with a legal vision requirement.

Lol yea its a good idea to start wearing your glasses a lot more, but remember when growing your eyes will get weak, you cant help it, its genetics, not because your watching too much t.v. Make sure to get check ups yearly. And no if you stop wearing your glasses, your eyes will get worse.

get you,r optician to recomend you to an opthalmic surgeon, i had exactly you,r problem and i,ve just had cataracts removed, it took about half an hour to do each and it didn,t hurt at all, that might not be the problem with you but get it checked anyway, i can,t think of anything worse than losing you,r sight
