lols just a little thought that came up to me while i was drinking my lipton green tea.

it seems that no matter what i do to it, suck it, squeeze the air out, nothing makes it sink.


any ideas?

Whether I am making a cup or a pitcher of tea, I always add the sugar to the boiled water before I add it to the container. I also pour the water on top of the bag. The sugar breaks the surface tension of the water so it soaks into the bags easier.

The same thing works with sweeteners too. I just don't like using things made with chemicals rather than things that grew in the ground.

The trick is that the tea bag must be at the bottom of the cup when you add the water. The water makes the bag heavier causing it to stay at the bottom of the cup.

Okay, why do you need it to sink? It still brews whether it is floating or not. I would go with the previous answer of pinning under a spoon.
