I think it would have to take a team effort. Am I wrong.

Some good answers so far but I am not buying good answers from this bird as her questions are silly. Of course her profile is closed so you cant check up.
If this is against the rules I would love to see her stopped. How?

If folks thought community monitoring with reporting was bad idea...coming up with Top Contributor was a doozy.

Would Y/A still have as many answers if we just limited it to voting for answers and forget posting the percentage?

It could be a team effort, or you could be wrong.

My highest %age was in the 40s, but it goes down as I answer more questions in R & S.

This person could be a very good answerer, maybe hasn't answered a lot of questions, answers in multiple categories, or it could be a team effort, as you suggested. I'm least inclined to believe that, simply because few people place that much importance on Best Answer. It's not like it'll get you a better paying job or a more attractive spouse.

This Is just as confusing to me as well. Looks like It would be considered a voted team effort. I do try to give the very best answer I possibly can.

or they can go to the question that have little or no answers,...this would definety inhance the percentage rate.

But good quality answers are really the key to helping some one. But there will always be those that seek the quesions that have no answers..........I take pride in quality answers,...not really worried so much of the percentage.

Peace
