And I wanted to point something else out. Did anyone notice that when you are a peaceful person and you accept people the way they are, that all walks of life can be your friend? I have friends from all walks of life, of all beliefs, and I never push religion at them. If they have a question, I'll answer, but that's as far as it goes. Do you make friends based on religion or on character?

As salaamu 'alaikym warahmatullahi wabaraktuh, my dear sister and my friend.
Insha'Allah, I attempt to judge no one and to accept all whom I meet remembering that all of creation comes from Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala, and that He and He alone has the wisdom and ability to judge correctly.
Ma'a salaam.

Dear Proud Muslimah,
I'm extremely happy to hear that you've been feeling better.
Answering your question.... I would say character.
Some of my friends are Muslims.... and well, you can say that they aren't exactly 'practicing' Muslims. But they are good people and I appreciate that, and that's the reason why they're my friends.
And you never know... being a Muslim who is peaceful and patient can actually influence friends in many positive ways.

You shouldn't base a friend on religion or character. I have many wonderful friends that don't have the same perspective as me and that's what makes us individuals...

WOW that was, appreciative ty....
Tragedy is something that people of all walks can sympathize with, it is the empathy of humans that make society such a decent place.
I don't make friends based on religion or lack of, I'm even married to someone with different beliefs.

I would love my friends even if they didn't share my beliefs. A person's character is much more valuable to me than his or her religious affiliation.

I too do not push my 'beliefs' but happy to answer questions, I hope friends are made by being myself, I do not consider myself as good, but try.

I make friends only with interesting, fair, honest people and these never depend on religion
I wouldn't want my friends to be exactly like me, it'd be boring as hell
