issue where a woman was asked to cover up.

Isn't this the "land of the free"

I felt that it was inappropiate to make such a request...

I am so enraged by this whole thing I just want to put on my mini skirt, get on a plane, and dare one of those idiots to say something to me. I feel horribly for that young woman. SouthWest Airlines must employ some real morons. Since when can't you wear a short skirt on a plane?

Land of the Free? Yes
Land of the free to dress like a prostitute on a plane? No
This woman, however was dressed just fine for her flight. What is the restriction? I have seen Stewardesses dressed sexier than her. And no it wasn't on Hooter's Air.

well it couldn't have been a straight guy who complained so I say ask the women in the seats around her and if any had husbands, boyfriends or boys with raging hormones my guess would be thats who the complaint came from

I think it's cr-p. Unless a person is naked, which she clearly wasn't, they deserve to dress however they please. I think the person who kicked her off the plane had a bug in his drawers that day. It's a plane- not church!!
