It is an economic problem in areas of europe.. The population of aged is growing rapidly but because families are smaller today and have been for awhile, the tax base to support the aged is decreased.. Also if an aged had one child who shows no interest in taking care of him/her, then the sad and expensive tribulation of parking the aged in a "home" becomes the situation.

No.
That would break both the Pope's and the nun's sacred vows.
The Pope is correct.
Ask the many childless couples that are around you and they, if they are honest, will tell you that they do not want children because they are selfish. They do not want to take the time to love, spend the money, or give up some of their toys.
An important part of Christian marriage is to bring children into this world and raise them in the love of Jesus Christ.
People with children frequently have a different mindset. One example: They want to make the world a better place for their children. Accordingly, they are politically active and vote with the future or their children in mind.
With love in Christ.

I have respect for the Catholic Church. I do not believe in speculating about the Pope's sexual orientation or any person's sexual orientation for that matter.
Of course, the Catholic Church would like the members to have more children because the Church wants to increase membership. However, you can say that about any church. All churches want more members.
Personally, I hope the future holds changes in the Catholic Church which would be helpful in attracting more members:
- Permitting Priests to Marry
- Permit Women to become Priests
My Mother was a Protestant and my Father a Catholic. I attended services in both Churches. My parents didn't force us to chose between the two. Instead, we each made our decision when we were 18 years old. I chose to be Catholic. No organized religion is perfect but I feel closer to God after attending a Catholic Mass than a Protestant Service. - Just my own experience.

Why should he want to do that? He would be guilty of putting another innocent human life into a religion, that the pope already knows isnt right....
How does a pope become a pope? simple he has an extrodinary ability to lie and cover up the truth about religion...

Jullien is wrong, the more people the more we use up resources. The day will come where millions or billion(s) of people will die inevitably and we are barely missing that day (lucky us). If Jullien was right then 30 people could keep the world a more orderly place but that is not how entropy works. 30 People, although they keep some things in order, make other things in disorder more than they order things.

The Pope is right, and you'll see in 40 years when there isn't a strong enough work force to fuel the economy. He may be right for the wrong reasons, but he's still right.
For example
2+2=4
2+2/God+Prophets and Saints to the second power=4 is still right

Ratzinger is a man who says a lot of insensible things. First, bashing Muslims, then abolishing Limbo and now bashing the Europeans. Nobody should pay attention to him anymore. He's a decorative figure. True Catholics should remember that Christ is the only man to follow, not a dude wit a hat.

He has never paid taxes or anything. What would he know about having children? I know better than to have them, because I see all my friends struggle to pay for their kdis.

Yes. In the Bible God told people to "be fruitful and multiply", then Paul came along and said priests should not get married. The Church must reject Paul and embrace God/Jesus.

Yeah he should put his money where his mouth is, so to speak.
Also...
They only need children because they are losing more and more followers every day. The children are susceptible to the indoctrination, whereas if you start later with teenagers or adults, it is highly unlikely they will buy into it.
