Muhammad never accepted Christian doctrines of Christology. He didnt even understand them.
How much more would everyday Muslims of today deny them?

Actually muslims don't lie about Jesus (or muslims that know their Quran anyway). Muslims accept Jesus as a prophet. Muslims, Jews and Christians have a lot in common when it comes to their beliefs. Your question should be "Why do uninformed people make up things when they are brainwashed by other unimformed people?"! Just look at all the uninformed answers you are getting now ;). I'm not muslim by the way.

Islam and Christianty have 2 different opinions about Jesus. The only opinion they differ on is that While Christians claim that Jesus died on the cross and was crucified, Islam claims that it was not Jesus but someone else. Probably a roman solider. And that Jesus had already transended to heaven few hours before the crucification.

Muslims lie as quickly as they say they think approximately Jesus improve into as quickly as the Messiah. in the event that they certainly believed this, they could be Christians, now no longer Muslims. this is side of Taqiyya, mendacity as a manner to added the reason of spreading Islam. in this occasion it extremely is seeking back to be friendly with Christians for ulterior motives of fixing them, additionally hoping to get Christians on their area in opposition to the Jews, and to boot for ultimately submitting the full international to Islamic Sharia regulation it fairly is the muse of the Quran and Islam. asserting those sorts of fascinating concerns approximately jesus could be very present day in Islam. purely ten years interior the previous or so, Muslims despised Christians as being pagans and idolators for believing in Jesus, and so they actually didnt revere Jesus as a prophet or the Messiah, or some factor else. this is somewhat considering that the the fashionable-day intifada began in 2000 that Muslims have began including this as side of their propaganda computer.

Might as well ask Why do Christians lie about Jesus? 1) Because they are so full of ego that they have to make up whatever stories are necessary to put them on top as 'Gods favorite' and 2) Because they are relying on books that are very old, which have been edited, retranslated and sometimes just maliciously altered instead of doing the work of meditation to contact God and figure out what the truth is and 3) Because even with the accuracies that are present in teh books, they don't understand what they read or they twist it to meet their own wants and desires.

They are just telling their truth as they believe it. Not even Christians all believe the same things about Jesus. For example, if someone looked at a painting and said it was beautiful, and another person looked at the same painting and said it was ugly- would one of them be a liar? No. They just are seeing different things when they look at the same painting.

hon we dont lie abt him, we just have a different story of his life & that he didnt die on the cross, but lifted up 2 God where he will wait until God puts him back on earth 1 day. my mom is christian, & i've went 2 church with her several times as she has thought me islam verses when i was a kid in school. we both perceive him as a prophet, & we both know that 1 day he will "rise" & come back. thats it.

What you think is a lie is the Truth.
Jesus is the Jewish Messiah and last Israelite Prophet.
He is not the Lord of Abraham.
If you think that is a lie then we will all see in the hereafter who is right and who is wrong.
