How do short guys work it?

Anyone who's ever taken a social psych class... or any sociology with relationships.. know the sad sad truth. Statistically, shorter men are at a disadvantage. It's a painstaking truth when height is really a large factor in the lovely game of attraction.

The problem with height.... is that it acts like goggles for women. Very much the opposite of beer goggles. Haha. Women will now interpret and view the short guy completely different from a tall guy and TREAT him differently! COMPLETELY! It's so so hard to overcome without the right tools..

The most painstaking of this whole process.. is that things would be so much different i was just a bit taller. To all the guys who are 5'7, I envy you. I'm 20, 5'5 being treated like i'm 15 by women. I'm veto'd the moment I meet people. And continued to be veto'd, no matter how intelligent, or humorous I am. In the end, 'I'm just too short'. I need some encouragement guys. Tell me your stories... HOW did you win?

Right and exactly that. Some women will of course befriend men who are shorter, but will never think of them in a romantic way. That's EXACTLY the same thing. That's what I meant being treated like I'm 15. Women 'prefering' to have men who are about 5'8. That's exactly what I mean when I talk about shorter men being treated and painted differently. Completely veto'd.

My husband was 5'2". I am 5'11", which is tall for a woman in her 50s. He had such a personality, such a joy for living and learning that his height never made a difference. We had fun with it, going to Halloween parties as Mrs. Roarke and Tatoo or Boris and Natasha. He was so likeable, so happy go lucky, and so loving that people overlooked his height.
Give yourself a chance. Stop concentrating on your height and become the best person you can be.
Someday you will find your 5'11" woman and fall deep in love.

hey man Im 5'8 but I was alot shorter growing up. the thing you have to remember is not all hot girls are 5'10. in fact a large majority of hot girls are 5'5 and below and may even be feeling like they are in the same boat as alot of short guys. As far as wanting to be with some one taller than you all I have to say is confidence, confidence, confidence. that is what a woman will notice more when she meets you than how tall you are. so just be yourself and the right girl will come your way....good luck

well, I'm no guy, but different women find different people attractive. Like, I wouldn't treat you like you're 15--I'm actually friends with a lot of shorter guys. I just won't think of you in a romantic way. I like guys that are taller than me with a great personality.

you do need to over come this because a lot of women are into men that aren't so tall.. this however is coming from a woman who is 5'2 so I'm not sure how good my advise is...

well people can be very judgemental. i'm short myself. i'm 13 and i'm only 4'10 or 4"10. maybe you can drink some milk and grow? =) or just dont let those people get to you. short people rock! xD
