Pray that God gives you the strength to resist temptation. When tempted do an act of love or a sacrafice. Try self mortification, ex. don't put salt on your fries, so later you can overcome temptation. And ask forgiveness with a willingness to sin no more. If you are Catholic confess your sins to a priest. God Bless You -

If you truly repent of your sins, you can reconcile with Christ. I do believe though that if you want to be totally right with God, you will turn yourself in to the authorities as well. May God bless you and help you make the right choices.

† Repent of your sins, and remove your self from all temptation. The bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:13 There isn't any temptation that you have experienced which is unusual for humans. God, who faithfully keeps his promises, will not allow you to be tempted beyond your power to resist. But when you are tempted, he will also give you the ability to endure the temptation as your way of escape. †

Are you saying the two are incompatible?
What about the French priest who was molested by two seventeen-year old girls? They had faith in Jesus did they not but they were still able to molest him.
I don't see how it presents a problem.

I have seen in life that many pious and "up there " folks in religion indulge in whatever takes there fancy after all ther is always repentance afterwards and of course absolution.

Your question betrays you clearly prefer your deviancy to Christ. Are you looking for meaning in your life or for people to agree with you to make you feel better?

If you're gay, there is nothing wrong with that. Humans are made for makeing little humans and the feeling you get from sex is normal, no matter who it is, male or female.
Go ahead, reconsile your faith. The Christian God forgives.
