Ive taken a couple preg tests (from the dollar store) and i bought the first response one but took it in the day time they all came up neg. I think i took 5 (most dollar ones). Stress can cause you to be late or even skip a period.

If you tested yourself at home a few times and it was after your missed period, then probably you aren't pregnant. Although, the reliability of dollar store pregnancy tests is questionable.

To be 100% sure, make an appointment with your doctor. You will need to anyway, because the cramping and so forth could be signs of an infection, or you may have something else going on.

If you want to try another home pregnancy test, spend the money and get the brand-name digital test that clearly states "PREGNANT" or "NOT PREGNANT". The plus and minus signs can sometimes be difficult to read, especially early on or before your period.

Sometimes 4 days late is nothing if you are having regular sex, but a doctor will tell you for sure. If you don't have a regular doctor, you can go to a free clinic to get checked out. But I would not wait if you are really concerned, it could be a sign that something else is going on and you may need treatment.

Lucy, I thin you are in trouble. It is time to go visit your doctor to find out for sure. There are many reasons that you may miss your period like worrying about possibly being pregnant. I think you need to talk with your mom about your recent behavior. She will be willing to help you make the right choices. If you are not pregnant, sooner or later you might be. You need to be focusing on your school work, so you can have a future. Having sex or making love is a very adult behavior, and you should be ready for the responsibilities if you should be become pregnant. Hopefully, this worry will be just a wake up call. It is time to start thinking about your options and your future. God bless.

properly, a pretend damaging is a lot extra consumer-friendly than a pretend helpful.... yet no longer after 2 months. in case you have been having your era for under ten years, that's rather consumer-friendly to pass a pair months (whether you think of you're customary). That sucks, and that's fairly frightening, in spite of the undeniable fact that that's common. Heck, i presumed i substitute into customary like clockwork, then for the time of a 2 365 days era, my menstrual cycle went loopy. for 5 years previous, it were coming each 25 days (provide or take an afternoon). Then, i might have it each 15-20 days. Then I had I missed 3 sessions. Then I had a era, then have been given it returned 10 days later!!! i substitute into so offended! Dang hormones. Now, that's returned to a 25 day cycle. I asked my endocrinologist (blood physician) and all he stated substitute into, "you're a woman. If it would not even out in yet another 365 days, then we will commence controlling it with hormones. till then, i do no longer choose for to clutter with it."

Yes it is possible. You can miss a period and not be pregnant. But if you miss 2 or more then I would worry. You had sex around the time you would be ovulating so its possible. GO to your doctor or planned parenthood. It may be too early for the hormones to show up. When was your period due?

yes, it is possible to miss a period and not be pregnant. But if you are worried, go to the doctor or Planned Parenthood and double check. (and also, I'd be leery of buying pregnancy test from the dollar store. There is a real possibility they could be expired and not accurate)

And stop using the withdrawal method, it is a highly unreliable form of BC, you are relying on the guy to have almost inhumanly excellent timing.

yes, it is possible for you to be pregnant. and your symptoms sound almost exactly like my best friends symptoms. she missed her period, was having low back pain, and was really tired. but she thought there was no way she could be pregnant. she took several cheap pregnancy tests and they all came out negative. then she went and bought like five of the expensive ones, just to make sure. every one of them showed a positive. she is now 6 months pregnant.
you should definitely go and get some of the more expensive tests, I think they must be more accurate.
Good Luck.

You should really take a pregnancy test from the pharmacy. You don't want to wait around on this. Secondly, you didn't mention that you have missed a period before so I am guessing you haven't. You should make an appointment with you PCP and talk to him or her earlier than later. It could be anything. I don't even want to hazard a guess on what it could be because I don't want to worry you further. Just make an appointment to see your PCP. Seriously.

I don't know what is wrong. Maybe you are pregnant: day 14 is the usual day of ovulation. Or maybe you are so stressed out worrying about it that the stress disrupted your period. Time will tell.

yes, it is possible to miss a period or for one to be late without being pregnant...especially if you are worrying and stressing about something.
If you were due to have your period and you have taken 5 pregnancy tests that have come back negative you probably aren't pregnant.

I have missed them before!
I usually only have eleven periods a year anyways!
Even if you don't have one...relax because worry will steal your period!
And start acting mature about birth control because being pregnant is a b....!
