I think it is wonderful if children can look after there aged parents if possible. I know in certain cultures it is a given that they will..I believe when children see there parents take care of there parents, that sets a example for them..

They took care of you when you were small, you should make sure they have their needs met when they are old. This doesn't mean you have to do everything yourself or mess up your own life. No parent worth his/her salt wants to mess up their grown children's family life. But at least make sure they are okay.
Your own children will observe how you treat your parents. They will learn from this, how they should treat you when you are old.

very important.
reasons are they are no longer strong and able to make the best decisions.
children usually love their parents and are a natural to take care of their parents
remember who used to love and kiss you?
remember who used to buy you pretty things?
bianca, you must be as could as a dead fish.
you must have no love in your heart or loyalty to your parents.
taking care of your parents when they are old is a natural.

You can take care of them while the can fend a little for them selves. But when you have to bathe them change their dipers etc... Its time to find a good place that will watch over them... I know it might sound cruel but believe me its the best for them... Good luck Grant M in Pennsylvania

I think it is very important. In my family my parents didn't send out my grandparents to be taken care of from someone else. My parents took care of my grandpa until he passed away. He had alzhemiers.(not sure how to spell it) Then they took care of my grandma who recently passed away also.

Its a strange question. Did your parents ever asked you the same question to you when you were young? Same way, its your duty and way of life to support your parentsthe same way you support your children.
