That's a great question. Here are some more - Why doesn't it cost any points to use the report question? How come Level one user's can't give thumbs - but they can report? Why is the report button now bigger than my grandma's underpants?

I hit the report button on this question about 50 times but I got tired of it. So I guess there is a limit.

Yahoo has just changed the way reporting works just within the last 2 days. They will now be suspending the accounts of those who report frivolously. Attention to reporting is now based on reputation, which is accumulated over time by:

- thumbs up/down
- stars
- properly reporting abuses
- number of questions/answers (rank)

god allows such foolishness bc foolishness is inherent in any religious organization, and this system was set up by men, just like god was

SOME people have limits on how many questions they can ask or answer.

Others do not.

Some of us try our best to ignore the "report it" buttons.

Think of it as "time in training" and an attempt to limit the noise of the inevitable trouble-makers.

Ask why must one be a level 2 to give a thumb; but just anyone can "report"

It must be that the yahoo gods thrive on carnage!

God wants you to ask him everything, cuz he knows it all. Because he knows it all, he doesn't want you answering all the questions , cuz then people would start thinking you were god instead. Hitting the report button is like praying - he wants you to pray to him.

Well, it's a theory anyway.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha - you asked, you had to make it religious, didn't you? (Or, we could ask Osama...)

Because there are limits on how much knowledge one can posess, and limits on how many novel questions one can come up with, but no limits on how much of an asshole someone can be.
