I have heard this by three people today that a multivitamin does not give you that much energy at all, just more of what you need if you don't get your daily vitamins from food. Is this true?? Please explain. Thank you all! =)

Live foods are better. Try fresh-pressed juices, but beware---many are only potent sources of vitamins and minerals for 30 minutes after juicing. I don't believe multivitamins work. Put it this way, the vitamin industry is a multi-billion dollar industry and more and more vitamin providers are popping up every day while at the same time, more and more people seem to be looking for answers to how to get more energy! There are no tricks. Walk more, do some deep breathing exercises, eat more live foods (vegetable and fruit juices are good sources) and drink plenty of water. Also, I have found that organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar 3 times a day with water and honey help me considerably. This cocktail has many benefits including being a rich source of potassium and magnesium to name a few.

More than anything else, SLEEP. Believe it or not, although exercise is exhausting while you're doing it, over time it make you have more energy. Also, healthy foods like fruits and vegetables will give you an instant boost of energy. Need a quick fix? There are energy shots called "5 hour energy" that give you an instant boost, and theres no crash and only a few calories.

Yes a multivitamin will really help your energy levels but ONLY if it is a brand that is well absorbed by your body. If it isn't well absorbed by your body it doesn't do you much good so research brands that are well absorbed by your body. I am assuming you do feel increased energy from the brand you currently use so research this and find a new brand that is better absorbed by the body.

You need food but multivitamins can help boost your energy levels and give you the rest of what your body needs. Asafa Powell, the fastest man in the world uses Double X to give him the energy to train and improve. It helped him break the world record in the 100 meter dash and he has since broken the record several more times. I get mine from thise site. http://eanderson10.qhealthbeauty.com/

one multi-vitamin a day helps the body get the right nutrients it needs and that includes giving you more energy.
also eating more proteins like fish, salmon, tuna, chicken, turkey meat...
right amount of assorted veggies, and fruits
drinking enough water
cutting out the sugars and fats from your foods will definately give you more energy.(no chips, pop, ice cream, cake , cookies,.fried foods..)

Starting the day off with a healthy breakfast will kick start your energy*
Porridge, or Raisin Bran or Kellogs Corn Flakes...with some fresh fruit and sml glass of orange juice..
.
lunch choose healthy lean meats , salads, fruit, yogurt
drinking water frequently throughout the day
also choose healthy snacks such as almonds, walnuts (a handful) to boost your energy level, or veggie plate to snack on(cucumber slices, celery slices, cherry tomatoes)
Once a month have cooked liver - good source of Iron*

Exercise...actually GIVES you energy even when you're tired.
Focus on your body wanting to feel better, have more energy, feel more alive and wanting to do things....You need to start by getting up and Moving* Walking , riding bike, dancing, rollerskating, ...swimming....just get up and "do it" lol*

Good LUck*
