I no longer believe that God grabbed some date off of a calendar and said "Thats it".

I believe that since we have free will, that we are deciding the end.

When the majority of the world of believers begin to turn their backs on God---known as apostasy----then it will happen.
And with our rapid decline of morals and the fact that most people cant even answer basic Bible questions---I think we are almost ready.

Try this-----ask some people
What is the first book in the Bible?
What is the last book in the Bible?
Was Joan of Arc the wife of Noah?
Who gave the sermon on the mount?
How many disciples were there?
How many gospels are in the New Testament?
Alot of people who claim to be Christian cannot answer these questions.

Maybe He has, but no one recognized Him, because he's made it so hard to recognize the "RIGHT" Him.

I'm a Christian who is starting to find it hard to believe in a lot that I was told as a Christian.

One of those things has to do with Jesus - since he died to save our souls, one who believes in him can basically do anything they want, thier sins are automatically forgiven based on the fact that you believe in Him - so, I guess, your choosing hell would land you at the side of Jesus.

Another thing that irritates me is the "you had a choice of whom to believe in" garbage. Where is that choice?

How can you possibly know the real God?
He really should help us by giving us a description of himself that would discount anyone else who would say "I'm God". But he doesn't. We understand that he could be anybody, anywhere. And you must choose the "right" Him.

I could hand someone 100 red marbles that all change color 5 different times all at the same time, and tell you to pick the only right one - a red marble! Where is your choice?

God has a predetermined time He only knows, as to when He will send His Son, Jesus back to the earth. "As in the days of Noah" is the generation picked to have Jesus intrude on their life-styles. When you read about Noah's generation, you find God was very disappointed with all the violence continually, occurring in the world and He cut it short. So we may deduce that violence will be paramount in the generation around prior to the return of Jesus. Jesus is coming back to rescue the world from the brink of total destruction if it were given the chance to continue.

He is gathering the whole house of Israel back together (Ephraim, Manasseh and Judah) and is testing the faith of his people that are scattered throughout the world.

Jesus is coming back with a sword and kicking a ss. He is going to squish billions of people.

DO THE WILL OF GOD
You need to find a home church, be obedient, follow his word, be baptized with the holy spirit, show your self approved and do the will of God (Mark 16: 15 - 18)

What if He is coming a little closer every day?

Remember the Gospel quoting Jesus as saying "The kingdom of God is at hand!" Too often we think he was meaning a temporal closeness --the kingdom of God is coming soon. But what if Jesus mean that the kingdom of God is physically close, as in inches or millimeters?

Jesus wants everybody in heaven. And as His Kingdom begins to come, to become present, here and now, Jesus is pulling us closer to Him and guiding us to move Jesus closer to us.

God is coming. Every morning when you wake up, remind yourself that the Kingdom of God is here and now and it's up to you as a believer to live as though God's kingdom were already here among us.

Your clear answer:

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

He is waiting for people to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
But one day He will wait no more.
Then will the Eastern sky break open, the trumpet will sound.
What a wonderful day that will be.<><

because He doesnt want any to perish.

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
