i just started high school last thursday and ive already made alot of new friends both guys and girls but there is this really cute girl in my Tap class (bassically tap class is like study hall) and i want to ask her to homecoming but i havent even talked to her yet, shes kinda shy i think so i really dont know how to approach even just talking to her, should i just flat out ask her to homecoming or should i try to get to know her? and if u think i should try to get to know her how do u think i can approach a girl i dont know preety much anything about and that im kinda afraid to talk to?

not get to know her like wayy too much.
but you should at least talk to her, get her number or myspace or something.
if she's shy, be sure to make sure that she feels comfortable wit you.
make her laugh. its gonna work out, trust me.
but u better hurry up, before anyone else asks her.

I'm in almost the same situation. Depending on if the girl is interested in you or not already determines whether or not you should ask her without getting to know her. Do you ever catch her staring at you? And even shy girls will probably appreciate it if you talk to them, to become friends. Especially if she looks lonely at the moment. Just stay away from the usual "Dayummnn girl" comments, and you should be fine.
