Are blue laws really still in effect somewhere in this country?!

I am a Christian yet I never understood the law prohibiting sale of liquor on Sunday when you can buy it every other day of the week. I would think most people would buy what they want to drink on Sunday on Saturday, so what does that law accomplish anyway? And why would someone consider it to be wrong to buy booze on Sunday yet okay to buy it any other day of the week? I agree that that law makes no sense. I hope not to offend other Christians, but I don't understand this law.

Sunday is The Lord's Day, and liquor is not a need. On the other hand, The Word of God is always a need, if people would only use it the way God intended.

Coz the Catholics influenced commerce and retailers as well as government..

to ban liquor sales ( blue laws ) on sunday...
as if its some silly-as-holy day..- WHICH IT IS NOT!!!!!!

God created the world in 6 days and on the 7th day he rested...and he blessed the 7th day sabbath as a holy day'
And the 4th commandment ( of the big 10 )

reminds us of this fact.
Catholics changed the sabbath from Saturday - to Sunday..

So people who keep sunday holy ' disobey God.
He DID NOT BLESS SUNDAY.......
All days are his day..
But - He mandates we keep the 7th holy.
not the others........

3 ABN television network..in Illinois..Has offered $1 MILLION REWARD TO ANY PASTOR OR CHURCH WHO CAN SHOW bible proof..THAT SUNDAY IS THE SABBATH..
THE OFFER HAS BEEN ON THE TABLE FOR ELEVEN (11) YEARS. AND NOT ONE PASTOR HAS COME FORTH WITH PROOF. Not Paul & jan crouch who refuse to.. not Benny hinn' not TD jakes, Not Rod Partly" not Jesse Dupe-them' plantis

not Paul white-lies

IN FACT 8 OUT OF 10 - WHO DEBATE IT...ENDED UP CONVERTING THEIR BELIEF TO THE aDVENTIST BELIEF THAT sATURDAY IS THE SABATH..

Remember J' died on friday ( good friday )
the Bible says

Mary M' and the others began to prepare for his grave 'spices' incense etc..

but the stopped in observance of the sabbath ?

and after the sabbath ...on Sunday morning ' Mary G returned to his tomb-
if a man has 7 daughters...and he tells you to make #7 your wife .. do u have a right to bang all of them ? ...since they are " All his "..???
NO !!!!!!
He told you which one to wife...Just as G' tells us which day to keep holy.

Even catholics know this truth..

Read: The Converts catachism of catholic doctorine
Q & A section: You can Yahoo it ' or you can google " it too..

like this: " Converts catechism ; when is the sabbath"

Catholics know the truth - but teach lies..
In Colombia a Mother Superior recently converted and denounced her religion to accept adventis truth after 73 year of being catholic..
Also an ArchBishop is in hiding know - ashamed of his false teaching over the last 40 yrs..

not only about the day.. but ' many many other things..

ATTENTION : ZAP ( below ) Research the Damn info..dont call me '' unreal- - until after you google search or stop by a fricking catholic bookstore - and read it yourself..its actually in the catechism of catholic doctorine..in the Q & A section: the Q is asked ": when is the Sabbath day "?
the Answer is: Saturday!
the next question is why do we keep Sunday..
\
the Answer is: coz we ( the chur..) changed it !

I can tell you I personally hate blue laws.

When I started to go to school in New York two years ago I was surprised that the liquor store was open on Sunday.

I wish they would allow such free enterprise in my home state.
