a few years back global warming was proven to be false, only a week after this, the information was deleted and forgotten. Global warming seems to be only a political issue now a days and I really want to know this. Is Global warming just a political strategy?

global is a natural cycle and not caused by humans. The earth is warming up because of the suns rays and so are other planets.

First you need to define what 'global warming' means, because it has become a buzzword for a number of related beliefs and assertions. In the past few decades, average global temperature - at least, as far as we can measure such a thing - has increased slightly. In that sense there is 'global warming' of a sort.

That said, the extent of human responsibility for this observation is highly debatable - there is no 'consensus' among scientists as certain sources would have you believe. Over 96% of the 'greenhouse effect' that keeps our planet from being a frozen iceball is caused by water vapor - a source humans have little if any measurable effect on. There have also been warming and cooling periods in the past when human activity could not possibly have been a factor. In addition, other planets are showing similar warming trends recently - which suggests the sun is the main cause, not humans.

As for the question of whether 'global warming' is a danger, that is also a matter of perspective. Some areas, and some species, are more affected than others. However, some of the species said to be in danger (such as polar bears) have survived past warming trends, suggesting some degree of adaptability. Coastal flooding scenarios are also exaggerated; Florida, for example, has not flooded in past warming periods so there's no reason to credit Gore's doomsday predictions this time.

Gloobal warming hasn't been proven to be false, many have tried but all have failed. Some claim it's false but are unable to back up their claims.

Your statement that the information was deleted and forgotten is a strange one. With today's mass media how do you delete something from the newspapers, TV, radio, internet and people's memories?

It's not a political strategy although it's true that some politicians and political parties are trying to use it to their advantage.

Glabal warming was a scientific issue long before it became a political one (it made it onto the scientific aggenda in 1896 and onto the politcial aggenda in 1988). Scientists spent decades trying to get the politicians to act, if they's have acted 50 years ago we wouldn't be in anything like the mess we're in now.

We have been coming out of an ice age since the last ice age. Things are still warming. Global warming as in (human caused) is bullshit!

Global warming is the increasing temperatures in the world, and definitely something not to dismiss as bullshit. One of the main, and most well known causes is the increasing amount of "greenhouse gases", which is primarily due to dirty industry. The gases are called "greenhouse gases' for their effect on the atmosphere, for they trap infrared rays in the atmosphere, causing it to heat. The heating, even a few degrees has a dramatic affect on weather (which is not always warmer.) The majority of the greenhouse gases are resulting from burning fossil fuels.

I admit I haven't done much research on this subject, though I thought this might interest you. One of the larger volcanos erupting puts out more of the "bad stuff" into our air than every bit humans ever have. Again, I haven't done too much reseach. I'm sure this is true, but I may be missing part of the facts.
