When Boulder granted same-sex marriage licenses in the 70s, some Christian demanded to get married to his horse.
He was sent away.
The horse was under-age.

Well, zoophilia isn't all about bestiality. Saying that they mean the same thing is like saying love and sex are the same. Just because you love someone doesn't mean you're in a sexual relationship.
I would like to say that I, myself am a zoophile. I always liked dogs more than the average person. I did love a dog at one point. She made it obvious she loved me by following me everywhere, and staying with me all the time, even though she was not my dog. I think marriage is going over the top, though. I wouldn't marry an animal. Also, many people think that I only like dogs for easy sex and love. How about, I' don't have sex with dogs, and I will never be able to have a dog for another 10 years, meanwhile I could have a girlfriend anytime. Mmm, hmm. Easy love alright.
I think that it's okay for somebody to love a non-human animal. It's who they are, and it has nothing to do with me or anybody else. If they want sex, I wouldn't care less, as long as they are not hurting their animal and both are enjoying it.
Then again, I wouldn't consider myself part of society; I think for myself.

I had to look this up not too long ago, because I was confused about a movie that had just come out, titled "Zoo". Apparently in my very own state, there had been a man that had to be taken to the hospital because of his interactions with a horse.
Because I'm part of society and you're asking what society has to say about this, I think it's horrifying. I can't fathom the idea of anyone doing these sorts of things with poor animals, and honestly it's just disgusting to me. When trying to figure it out in the first place, I came upon some really disturbing websites and support groups for people who were involved with zoophilia. It makes me cringe just thinking about it.

A goat or rabbit suffers when forced to engage in physical intimacy with a human. They cannot be said to be consenting adults.
However, there was a recent case of a man caught copulating with a deer recently killed by a collision with a car. Because the deer was dead, there was no law against it (as the cruelty to animals laws do not cover fauna cadavers). This may be a case of having reputation correct misbehavior rather than legal injunctions.

BTW: The term you're looking for is bestiality. (Yes, that's the correct spelling.)

Wait... so are you saying gays only should have as many rights as animals?...
This is a classical logical fallacy, a subset of the non sequitur. Though if the animal was sentient, I would have no problem with this.

HaHa!
Beastiality has become a reference point in my recent replies to the "gay rights and acceptance" questions. They will have a hard time convincing me that the animal was willing and or was born that way.............

Since sodomy (having sexual relations with an animal) is a crime, you'd probably go to jail.

Whatever two consenting species do in the privacy of their own home, is none of my business.
Seriously, why are people so obsessed with who's getting what from who, if they aren't involved?
