and redownload and install it

To re-install a new windows media player:
1) Go to control panel click on Add/Remove programs, select windows media player, click on it. Uninstall wizard should then appear on your screen
2) Use uninstall wizard, follow step by step instructions
3) Re-start computer for clean installation
4) Go to microsoft.com website and download new player following onscreen step by step instructions

go to start/program files/applications/windows explorer

click the plus sign next to my computer double click controll panel

in the right hand side of the window you should see add/remove programs double click that.

remove windows media player. then download the latest version from http://www.download.com/3001-2139_4-5948260.html

when its done downloading double click it
