It might be the ABC News coverage on the demise of the Greenland ice cap last wek, and their ongoing coverage of GW. If you saw it, it was pretty impressive. I suspect a few teenagers still watch the news

Neil R, There have been a few posts on here purporting to be from frightened teens. I know it's farfetched, and it's probably just more baiting, but some peopl became concerned. I did.

Affrata, oh I'm so sure that's the problem. And if your fake history about being taught cooling were true, it would be almost convincing.

Thanks Bob. You know as things progress there will be more and more of these type documentaries. It's probably good to be thinking about how to discuss news like this with the young.

I agree autopilot, but there are good and bad ways to do thngs with children. There are also huge differences in their ability to handle trauma, Their emotional and intellectual developent is strung out over a pretty wide range, Initially, They catch up with one another later. I won't argue about whether or not they should know, they WILL know, and soon. The question is whether the adults will help them when they get the news, or act as bystanders.
Jello, you poor misbegotten soul! Yes they reported that because it happened. It actually happens every year, when it snows. The aggressively uninformed such as yourself immediately began pointing to it as evidence that Global Warming is a hoax, as their conspiracy theory says. Scientists of course immediately issued clarifications of course, as they did with the Global Warming on Mars nonsense, but conspiracy theorists like their interpretations obetter than those of the people who provide the facts.

Thank you Qweemawva Anzorla Qwartoon. I'll look at them carefully. I wanted to share this story. It's quite possuble that people's minds can't be changed on the political aspects of this by argument, facts, et cetera. I 've often suspected this, but apparently there's some new research that also points in that direction.
