yes it will, the bellhousing bolt pattern is the same.

but it will not hold up to the power of the v8, its not "built" as strong as the tranny behind the 5.2.

the v6 should be a 42rh or 42re, and the v8 will be a 46rh or 46re, depending on the year.

it'll work, the 3.9 is a v-6 version of the 5.2 v-8 with 2 cylinders removed. also, the 5.9 will bolt right in there if its around the same year.

You don't say what year model, but if the 46 series are built like the 9xx series, the yare all just as strong, and will bolt right up.
