Sorry, but this Christian never told you such a thing. Who you have sex with is none of my concern. I don't want to know about your sex life just like I don't want to know about everyone elses sex lives (straight or not). What two concenting adults do in private should remain private.

God has a logical reason for no longer needing a writer. Ur universe is in time because it degrades, winds down, ameliorations, ends, starts off God does (immutable) God made time The writer of something is by no potential project to the created Programmer no longer project to his application So God isn't project to or interior time No time no causality no in the past no after on account that he's not project to causality and there replaced into actually actually No in the past God He has nor needs a writer God continually existed uncreated no longer something by no potential existed. No the universe cant basically exist its in time and has a beginning up meaning theres a in the past to it. what isn't an result needs no reason Ive by no potential pronounced that, God is rather lots lively interior the international, and it has no result on loose will. by way of fact we are in a position to alter Gods techniques, by way of fact the bible demonstrates many cases, like Abraham praying or lot in sodom. interior the examples u gave, i could desire to be certain why u think of this. of course those christians havent found out lots apologetic type artwork. no longer all and sundry reveals it thrilling, i do.

Andrew, this is one of the issues dearest to my heart.
My grandfather was a gay man, but he was born at a time when it would have been out of the question for him to be openly so. He was raised with fundamental Christian beliefs, and so he tried to suppress who he was.
He married my grandmother, and had three children. By the time I came along, the family was already feeling the consequences of this. I was the eighth and last grandchild.
He couldn't change who he was. No matter how hard he tried to be a straight and married Southern Baptist, he remained a miserable, confused victim of societal and religious bigotry.
Everyone in the family has suffered because of this. I'm not excusing his own culpability in his attitude and/or actions, but I firmly believe that if he had been accepted as he was when he was young, he would never have turned out as he did.
You didn't choose to be gay, and people who have some education on homosexuality other than what's in their religious texts know that.

This Christian can honestly report that I have NEVER said a gay person chose to be gay, but neither am I convinced that you are born that way. I do not know if some event in your infancy or early childhood is the cause. Truthfully, I DO NOT Know......
Murderers often say they could not help themselves, some thieves claim they can not help themselves and we call them cleoptomaniacs (sp?) I can't pretend to know if someone who practices beastiality chooses to do so, or if someone who likes to drink chooses to become a drunk, or why someone who "tries" a particular drug becomes an addict.
What is known, is that God denounces all of these things and others and we are instructed to rule ourselves better and refrain from these actions.
That is my truth.......you can keep your psychological studies.....they are nothing more than "indications", they are not fact or truth.

That's why we aren't to judge one another. Anyone that judges you judges themselves.
Whatever they would have you suffer they put upon themselves.
Judgment of others is very reflective.
Besides not being judgmental Christ taught me to love so believe me you are loved.
EDIT: It grieves me no end that groups of people are singled out like this by bigots hiding behind Bibles. This has nothing to do with anything other than hate. I cry for the persecutors as well as the persecuted.
It seems the Pharisees never die off they just change their names.

Some will say it is fine to feel that way, as long as you never act on your feelings. Then it becomes a choice.
Despite the fact that they, themselves, would not be willing to live a life of celibacy and non-romantic love. They could better serve God and the church, Paul said, if they choose to remain abstinant and unmarried; marriage was an option because the people were so weak they caved to temptation easily.
But you...well, you just have to deal with it. That's your cross to bear if you wanna get to Heaven.
Bleh.

“Is that your own idea,” Jesus asked, “or did others talk to you about me?” “Am I a Jew?” Pilate replied. “It was your people and your chief priests who handed you over to me. What is it you have done?” Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place.”
“You are a king, then!” said Pilate. Jesus answered, “You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”
What is truth?” Pilate asked
Pilate didn't know the truth even after Jesus just told him what the truth was. You are mistaken I can accept the truth, the real question is can you?
Just because one feels the impulses towards homosexual tendencies, murder, lying and thievery, we do not become labeled as such until we act upon those impulses. So, yes, we do choose. Just as Pilate chose not to understand the truth.

ok.... in response to "smeather": if your dogs were born not gay, they still wouldn't be humping each other.
you are all so horribly ignorant. how would it possibly be their choice? i mean, why would you pick one two holes over three????? obviously something they were born with makes them like guys instead! and also, who cares? whether it's a choice or not, gay people arent some foreign species to be feared and hated! they aren't corrupting anything!!! they aren't even causing trouble for anyone! it is a pure and true matter of you don't understand why they are the way they are, or else you are of the most highly ignorant degree and you believe that god has hand-created some people to be eternally damned from the start. You mean to tell me he put some people on earth and they were damned from the start? Because THEY DIDNT CHOOSE IT.

Well, I'm Catholic and I will tell you that ANYONE who judges you for being gay is already deviating from the path THE LORD died for. Look at all of the people who have died for the sake of being different, accused of being heretics. Extremism leads to blindness, THOSE WHO ARE BLIND to those who are different and think differently
(Gee, the story sounds familiar doesn't it? Jesus was different and thought differently and was singled out for this) are doomed to repeat the stupidity of the past.
There is scientific evidence that people who are gay are wired differently. The Psychology aspect is the acceptance of the physiological state or lack thereof.
So long as you are sensitive to the needs of others, you should be treated no different.

Understand that when you say " I'm a woman trapped in a man's body" your basically saying "Well, God made a mistake in making me."
And psychology also has the ability to manipulate the brain. There are things like psychological warfare, and of course subliminal messages. (Some records back in the 80's used to have some when you played them backwards. There was the Zeppelin incident with "Stairway to Heaven" It say something like "My sweet Satan" or something like that... If you know of ANY OLD Head-banger, ask them about "Stairway To Heaven.")

The Truth is found only in Jesus Christ and God's Holy Word, not in man's psychology! Do you realize how silly you sounded, putting your faith in the things of this world that is here today and gone tomorrow instead of God's Word that is here today and remains forever, that teaches homosexuality is sin? WHAT you chose is to act upon your sinful desires of the flesh instead of recognizing it as sin, according to God's Word and praying to God thru Jesus for strength in YOUR weaknesses! YOU are the one who needs to accept Truth. Jesus will help you if you choose to confess your sin and walk with Him!! God bless you
