cash and it all slows down? It talks about the need for "faster money" Does this mean we are headed for a "cashless society" as mentioned in Revelations?
Rev 13:16 & 17 He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.

Ames, I hadn't thought of that but you're right. I had to use a credit counseling company to get out of debt. The only credit card I have is pre-paid.
Titus. you are right my brother-in-Christ.

Jan, I have seen that commercial! Have you seen the Veri Chip website? From what I understand, they are planning to implement some kind of program in micro chips in May of next year! I do think this has something to do with the prophesy in Revelations. I am not quite sure how this will unfold, but this means the Lord is on His way! Praise the Lord!

I don't know if that's what the commercial is trying to accomplish in that message but I do believe that we are rapidly moving toward a cashless society. I don't think that debit/credit cards indicate the mark of the beast, if that's what you're asking. That will come after the rapture of the church, when the antichrist takes control of world finance.

The verse in Revelations is less likely to be referring to a "cashless society" than with having some form of authorization for these transactions (think purchase orders for companies)....
It has been theorized that this will mean some sort of rationing as opposed to things like credit or debit cards....

Credit cards are just a temporary representation of money until the bill is paid. I wouldn't worry until everyone's credit card number is 666 and the cards are stuck to the forehead.

I don't know what that verse has to do with being a "cashless society" but anyway, I, for one, think carrying cash around is easier unless you get robbed...that could be a problem.

It could be, over the years starting, with credit cards, the government has slowly been conditioning us to think the mark on your right hand, or the mark of the beast, is okay. It's all just been one slow clever deception.

The person that pays differently slows down the process because he is not like everyone else. He dosent follow "Satan" or society. Society sees a problem with people who are different from them. Do not let them put that chip inside you.

Hi Jan,
I had my dog microchipped a while back and as I did I thought of this verse and how close we are. The technology is close, if it doesn't already exist to fulfill that prophesy. I pray that they eyse of those that don't believe will be opened that they might believe.

I think it could be positive like in Star Trek, or books like in Flinx and Pip where they have cards no one can steal from.
Humanity really is watching for any 'Big Brother' activities or satanic so this will not happen.

oh yes, I think so. Most of us use debit and credit cards now, and soon they will start inbedding them into our body for convenience in purchasing. Also soon they will also be for 'tracking' where we are just like with cars. Revelations in today's news.
