What about a low-cal guilt religion where God doesn't want to kill you if you sin ? I sinned and told God I was sorry and He made me feel washed completely and I started smiling and laughing because I was so freaking happy He loved me that much......since then I havent beat myself up about ANYTHING Ive done wrong....why should I ? Jesus washed and forgave me....and now Im cruising along with Him smiling and worshipping Him....

You are very mature in your faith, you don't know how many people who are Christians, that don't have the understanding that you do about sin and guilt. Most Christians I know, seem to beat themselves up and even go into depression over their guilt. But you have "hit the nail on the head" Sin is going to be with us until we die and most likely each of us will make a mistake of some kind each day. Every time I do, usually right after I have"slipped" I ask for forgiveness. Christians are not Perfect, Christians are forgiven.

I have no religion at all, and only feel guilt when I harm someone. That type of guilt is healthy guilt.
