Yes, 100% a total class act, he was not cussing, swearing, pissing and moaning or being a cry baby that another motor blew.. He thanked his team for a great race, and he is still motivated to go out and win races, even if he is not in the chase..now that the monkey and pressure is off his back, he can go out there and drive and try to win a race or two before he leaves DEI... and goes on to a better better better team next yr...yes one class act.. GO DALE JR GO....

He got out of his car, wiped his brow, sipped on a drink and got interviewed. He was his usual self, upbeat but not as happy as he would have been if he had won(despite DEI equipment failure)on a great performance because they did their best. They did not build that motor. All they did was change the tires, add fuel, adjust the chassis, clean the grill, and fix the body if it got messed up. They did this and they did it well. All that went wrong this week was no wrong doing of theirs. Jr is a class act and all who truly are aware of his true self know this. My cynicisym towards DEI comes from all the equipment failures post announcement of HMS and it's all a little too convenient for me to accept as coincidence.

Yes he is. He knows how to conduct himself in an interview even after a major disappointment like tonight's race. He is a gentleman.

Absolute class act. He could have placed blame on his crew but didn't. Instead he thanked them for all of their hard work and dedication to the team. He is now going to race to win and enjoy the rest of the time that he has with his crew.
Now if the media could lay off of him he could actually enjoy the rest of 2007!!!!

absolutely. His daddy tought him well. Some here could learn from him as well.

Next year?! Look out Daytona! HMS will be a bigger power house!

Anyone notice how well Jr motorsports busch car ran before getting involved in a wreck in the busch race? It was powered by HMS!

Junior seems like a fine person. He isn't who I root for every week, but I like to see him do well because I do think he's talented and a decent, genuine person to boot.

I would say he is a "OR WHAT"... get so sick of the word Jr. being spoken constantly by the announcers..dude hasn't won a race in 59 tries..Hendrick Motor Sports was foolish to hire a driver of his caliber..might be a fan favorite...look what Kyle Bush has done...Jr.'s brain is Bud soaked...
