If you are a westerner do not join the Russian Army. I was in the American Army and worked with the Russians in Kosovo. You would be better of to serve time in a maximum security prison in the US. The Russians Army living conditions are rudimentary to harsh, the food is terrible in even Russian standards, you lack personal equipment(things like soap, soaks, tooth brush, etc), NCOs are physically abusive to their soldiers, and 10% injury rate in training is normal. There has even been reports of Russian NCOs in the St. Petersburg area pimping out their soldier for gay sex, and keeping the money. The Russians themselves try to get out of their draft.
I also worked with the German Army. Living conditions are ok, food is good, they give you beer, the training is very good and you have good equipment. They normal do not have foreigners in their army though. You could look them up on the Bundswehr's web page and see if they will take you.

certainly definite... The borders interior the area have been properly... Fluid for centuries. Poland were decrease up and shared or maybe made up of areas of Germany and Russia and each so in many situations the border and the ethnicity's might go over. So in many situations situations a German speaking man or woman lived on the Russian area of a border, on a similar time as a Russian lived in German lands. Now on a similar time as a German would possibly no longer have been depended on or probable even persecuted on some point they might connect the soviet military. The Russian military had poles, Jews, Germans, Mongolians, chinese language, Turks, etc... the comparable is going for the German military, they had lots of races and cultures even although they have been aiming for a "grasp race". yet definite you're able to be German and combat for the soviets.

Russia I can understand but Germany must be the last place anyone would want to join the army.
Just get a visa to go to Russia and go to the government and ask what you need to do.

Go about becoming a citizen through whatever channels you prefer - applying for residence, permanent residence and citizenship, or marrying and knocking up a local girl.
Once that's done, joining should be a lot simpler - both countries have conscription, so I'm sure they'd be happy to take a new citizen.

You have to move to either Russia or Germany and get a full citizenship and become a legal immigrant. It'll take 5-10 years to become a citizen. Then take it from there.

Kinda a diverse set of governments, eh?
Do you speak either Russian, Cyrillic, or German?
Might be a good place to start. That way, they won't think you're a moron.
