yesss...i got one as a gift & I absolutely love it! I use it all the time....just as advertised & easy clean-up!!

It is not a "magic tool" just a new name for an old one - most every cooking store has a mandolin and they all work the same regardless of cost (from $20-$70). They do make slicing and chopping easier and I recommend getting one that has a base that catches the cuts so they don't fly everywhere. Good Luck!

I am going to buy one tomorrow! Reader's Digest reviewed a bunch of "as seen on tv products" and this one got a great rating as being exactly as advertised

I use a mandolin it's great for salads and this is only a cheap plastic one .
