this is a sign your teeth and tongue are dirty and covered with mouth goo...you feel thirsty to break through the mouth crust but the water doesnt have the acid feeling like soda that would help break up the goo....scrub your teeth first and your teeth then drink water i am sure this will help ..you are most welcome and good cheer to you : )

i could bypass to a doctor. purely from the identify i could have pronounced purely drink water yet once you have hardship retaining it down i could recommend a bypass to to a doctor via fact this could reason some serous problems for you. Or as different epopel pronounced attempt to drink juice or eat ingredients with alot of water in them like pasta or applse and cucumber...

No I drink filtered water or spring water a gal per day is medically recommended .not soda or tea or coffee they don't count like pure water . if your pipes are dirty try a filtration system they can be cheap or very expensive .

No, in fact water is the only thing that quenches my thirst....but it has to be icy cold. Soft drinks just make me more thirsty, too sugery.

I get that feeling when i'm hungover. It could be that you are consuming to much sugar and it is becoming dependant on it.
