I am thinking about buying an All-Clad slow cooker. There is one for $149.00, and one for $249.00.
It seems the only difference between the two is that the more expensive one you can use on the stove and the oven.
Does anyone use one of these models?

The difference is the Insert - the less expensive unit is ceramic and the more expensive one is aluminum - personally I don't like the residual taste aluminum leaves when making any acidic dishes like lasagna or stews with tomato - so i own a ceramic style.
