Honestly I read a lot here and hardly ever post anything (check my history) I did ask a few questions about my fish tank (blasted thing) but almost never on anything else. But I do come here and read stuff.

Do you think by being mean and condescending to non believers you’re helping things?

I read what some of you people write in here and I am shocked this comes from saved people. I wonder how much of this comes from non believers just pretending.

If you have that much hate in your heart, that the mindless words of a faceless person can invoke such venom, I wonder if there is any room for Christ in there.

I don’t understand how if protected by the grace of our savior, and if you’re working in every way to bring praise upon him how such vile things can come from your thoughts.

I do not pray for those I read here who do not believe in our lord, that is not MY fight. I do however find myself praying for those speaking of and for my savior.

Often I feel you’re in more need of help then they are.

The cynical short answer is that they chose to be this way. They have created and accepted a morality and system of values which involve not eating meat. They see an animal or rather some animals as sentient beings. Beings that can feel pain, and by this rational they feel that eating the animals is equivlent to murdering a human. They have made the choice in their mind to give value to not only their own life but to everyone's life in a way. Why its ironic that people like the Animal Liberation Front bomb other humans to stop animal testing, I would say that most vegans are not violent; however they are bitter because they are a minority and they feel that their voices are not heard by the mainstream. They feel like they are right in what they believe and this strikes a zeal in their "hearts" to decry what they see as injustice...I would add that in no way am I a vegan.

I agree with you, except for the part about not praying for those who don't believe in our Lord, as I certainly DO pray for them as well. We Christians do need to stop and think about how Christ would answer these questions before opening our mouths, as we are SUPPOSED to be His disciples and advocates and spread the Good News, not CONDEMN and JUDGE or shove things down others' throats, so to speak. But whether they like our answers to their questions or not, we can rest assured knowing that we can never go wrong speaking the TRUTH from His Word and always out of love. God bless!

P.S. You have a really cool job!

No , I don't. I don't really know if I am helping anyone out by even being here at all. All I do know is that I am trying to answer peoples questions to the best of my abilities. I hope that someone appreciates what I do. A few people have at least. I have got a handful of best answers and not a few thumbs up.

PV, you are the real deal as far as Christians go.

I'm not a Christian or an atheist, but a spiritual seeker who does believe in a higher power. I have no problem with anyone's beliefs, but I do have a problem with the condescending and hateful attitudes of some of the so-called Christians on this site.

Bless you!

I agree with the others. I am a former Christian, now agnostic, but not hateful. I'll be happy to accept your prayers in the way they're intended, but still won't believe they will help me. I harbor no ill will against those who don't agree with me. I've taken in a Catholic Republican who I don't agree with on most issues, but we are both good hearted people. We can agree to disagree. if all people of different religions & political views could do that, we might have peace!

Some Christians can't accept the critical side of things but they can hand it out fast; I agree with everything you said. And yes I have done it before. The Lord said to take joy out of everything and to unbeliever's not to be hard on them. Sometimes we as humans forget. So just as the righteous who also forget. We need not be hard on each other. Because their might be 2 believers but out of the 2 the 1 of them might be of weaker Faith so we need to do as the bible says and build even each others Faith and not by judging each other. Lets join hands and outcome the devils thoughts he puts in our heads.

A lot of Christians don't understand that the people they are trying to help don't understand the love of our Lord. They only know what they know and do what they know to do. Yes you are right a lot of people try to push and be ugly. If people would only show the love of Jesus when they talk to others it would be much better.

I do try to walk in the spirit at all times, but remember unless we are walking in the spirit we have a flesh that wars with the spirit, that is when our carnality comes out, everyone of us are capable of doing it. Sometimes it is not so easy to hold back and sometimes you just have to "tell it like it is" ..not trying to justify my actions or words here but Jesus also responded to the Pharisees with "righteous indignation" by calling them a bunch of snakes (new words added) actually "broad of vipers". I hope that makes sense to you. Peace.

The churches are full of people whom truly need to be there.
They are labeled Christians, when in reality they are practicing Christians.
Perhaps they feel God is not watching them type.
For me - I pray every morning and night for:
The health and happiness of all my Family, Friends and Foe.

Got them all covered and I know God Loves Me.

how can you say that you do not pray for those who do not believe, that it is not your fight? ...who's fight is it?

...Christ gave us a commission to go out and make disciples. i agree that there is a line, and that i too notice a lot of hate coming from "Christians" here, but that is in no way a reason to stop spreading Christ's love. We don't have to condemn these people to hell, that is ridiculus, and is not our place. Our only duty is too tell the world of Christ's love for His people and His want to be with us. There is no hate in that whats so ever.

and that is why i comment on nonbelievers questions, not to make them mad, but hopefully that they will see what i'm saying as truth, and love not a need to persecute them. i love them and i want them to know the peace of Christ, but i'm not going to force it to them, its their decision, but i want them to know that Christianity isn't what they necessarily make it out to be...it is love, not hate.
