i weight 140 and i just had a baby 4 months ago... i want to loose at least 10 pounds what should i do ??? any ideas? helppp!!!

If you want to lose properly and don't want to follow all the 'have to' item lists, then try Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, ediets.com, or Nutra System. They are all good and healthy diet ideas. If you just want to be smart and do what is right for your body, then just doing some basic remodeling of the kitchen can help you lose very well. First, gut out any junk food from the house and don't allow it in any more: chips, soda (pop) etc. Then fill your refridgerator with fresh fruit and vegetables that you have prewashed and are in airtight containers ready to grab when any munchy feeling comes over you. For meals, eat leans meats and steamed vegetables or a salad for lunch and dinner. For breakfast, eat eggs cooked with a food spray or boiled and turkey bacon or pork bacon that is precooked and you just nuke it. There is less calories that way. Drink Orange or Grapefruit juilce for breakfast and have at least two snacks during the day of fruit or cottage cheese or chunk cheese or vegetables. Make your biggest meals at breakfast and lunch and your smallest meal at dinner. Have the two snacks mid morning and then mid afternoon. Take a good hour walk in the evening before you settle down for the night. That will increase your metabolism instead of it slowing down when your body gets tired. If you stay within your food limit on calories by not overeating and get the walk in, you can lose very well with that diet. Good luck.

Avoid fats, carbohydrates, and sugars. But make sure you're through nursing first.

The best way to do this:

1. No fried foods.
2. No bread.
3. No pasta
4. No pizza
5. No sugars or snacks
6. No crackers
7. No stuffing
8. No chicken skin
9. Absolutely zero potato foods.
10. No egg yolks.
11. No watermelon. Too much sugar.
12. No oils.
13. Low fat or fat free milks, but keep consumption low because of milk sugars.

What you can eat:

1. Brans and fibers like Special K or muselix cereals
2. Fruits and vegetables except chickpeas which are fatty.
3. Meats like beef, grilled chicken, turkey breast, unsalted unsweetened hams
4. Fish
5. Baby corn ears
6. Low Carb/Low Fat soups that do not have pasta in them.
7. Salads without dressing -- just vinegar, no oil.

You can lose 10 lbs fairly quickly. About 2 weeks tops.

best diet is to not eat for the hell of it and only when hungry n instead of the chocolate bar or the packet of crisp an apple or something healthy n a sensible amount of exercise a week which u can stick to for a long period of time. remember that that the first bit of weight lose is usual a lose of water rather than body fat and that there no point dieting weight off and then going back to eating anything you want cause your body metabolism wont be used to it and you'll put the weight back on that why most diet don't work properly.

I lost 23 lbs on South Beach. It's not as Hard as you think. I find it very doable. Phase 1 is strict but do it for 2 or 3 weeks and you'll lose your 10 lbs.
