I'd say it depends on the topic you answer in. Some areas here are very competitive and you probably couldn't do better than 2 or 3%. Yet some topics seem to have more genuine posters and less fierce competition. My wife got more than 25% best answers chosen by the asker and then another 25% from "voting" (consistently over 50%). But she rarely answers and really picks and chooses questions that she legitimately has some expertise in. Edit - I don't consider myself a "cheat" to get over 30%. The only thing I do other than answer well is that if I see one of the questions I've answered has gone to voting, I vote for myself as best answer. I don't use fake accounts to get extra votes or anything either. I consider that a legitimate vote - I really do like my answers best. RARELY, I have voted for someone else's answer when it really was superior.

About 5%... and those are mainly from "Nons". For the most part, people in here just use this place as a way to tick off others for a cheap thrill.

Not very many because too many non believers try to respond to questions without the necessary knowledge and real life experience to be able to answer questions sensibly.

Lately about 10% to 20%. That is a drastic change from six months ago. Back then it was maybe 1% to 5%

I'd say about 20%, but only on thoughtful questions. As for the rest, maybe 10% if you're feeling lucky. It's really sad.

I would say that about 10% are very thoughtful. There is an additional 20% that are thoughtful.....

I would also say that about 25% on the other side are head-scratchers, and the remainder are either knee-jerk or simplistic answers......

Around 30% for serious questions.

5% for really ignorant questions

5% for really controversial questions (ie evolution vs. creation, atheist vs. Christian)
