please explain viera link HDMI inputs and whether you need to buy different dvd/video players with new plasma?

do old players plug into new plasmas or need new HD players, plasma has one HDMI can i plug my video in and dvd or just one, it has HD tuner built in what does this mean thanks

Old DVD players and VCRs work just fine with plasma.
For your DVD player use component video out.

Built-in tuner means you can watch TV by connecting an off-the-air antenna or cable directly to your TV.
