It is extremely unhealthy (mentally and physically) to count calories. Eat healthy calories and avoid unhealty calories.

the total bodyweight is irrelevant, the body composition/body fat percentage is far more important. for males I would not let the body fat % get much more than 15% for optimum long term health.
