My family USED to go to this church but , my mother decided that we need to go back . Can she actually do that, she has not spoke to the minister.? What is appropriate to wear because I hate being overdressed. What will I have to do? FYI I am 13

Sure you can - you don't need to ask anyone if you can go to church just go. Wear something that covers your body well and you'll be fine.No belly shirts , or jeans too tight or shorts those things are not for wearing to God's house.
The bible says to wear our best. I f you are going to a bible believing church you'll enjoy it especially where they have alot of youth activities. Enjoy and God bless !

I'm not sure which church you used to attend, that you would feel hesitant to go back after ten years, but any church I know would be glad for someone to return! They should welcome you back with open arms.
When I was young, we always wore dresses/skirts to church, and the guys wore suits w/ties. Now it seems to be a little less formal. So I wear nice pants and tops, and the men wear shirts, or polo-shirts and nice pants. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any more questions or uneasiness. God bless!

Sure you can go back. God would love for you to go back to church. If you are a girl then wear a nice modest dress or skirt and blouse. If you are a boy then just a nice pair of trousers and a shirt and tie.

You need not speak to anyone to begin going back to church.
I would dress modestly for church. It's usually not necessary to wear dresses in most churches. Wear something nice, like you would wear out to dinner.
All you have to do is show up and expect to be blessed!

And as long as you are going back to church I recommend that you should also read the Bible. After doing so you may see your faith in a completely different light.

Yes, anytime that we sin we should go to God and ask for that forgiveness and get back in right standing with Him. God's heart's desire is that we worship Him to the fullest not half-heartedly. Go back to church. Talk to your mom and tell her that you want to go back.

Always go back. And wear anything you feel comfortable in. But the dressier you are, the more respectful you will feel. Good luck!

sure she can. wear a comfortable slightly dressy outfit, slacks are fine but not jeans, you sit, lsten, sing and might have to shake some ones hand
