I just got a rotisserie, used. I bought some chicken, onion, potatos, green pepper, and am going to put on skewers, how long do you cook this? Anyone have ideas on what else I can cook? Thanks

I use mine for beef eye of round roasts that I've marinated or pork roast or tenderloin. The "Skewer" on my rotisserie is about 1/4" diameter, so I only use larger diameter pieces of meat - cylinder shapes work best because that gets the middle done about the same as the ends. Your ingredients sound like you're making a kebab that's normally on a much smaller diameter skewer. If you're going to use potatoes on them, you might want to precook them a bit.

Have fun with your rotisserie.

Buy yourself an instant read thermometer. Every chef uses one. About $5. Takes the guess work out of knowing if the food is done instead of overcooking it.

Insert into a thicker piece of chicken until it reads 170 degrees.
