Medicaid is welfare health insurance. Someone on "medicaid" would receive a WELFARE check, but not a MEDICAID check.

Medicaid benefits and requirements vary by state. If you're not talking about a handicapped person or child, most states require income of less than $700 a month for eligibility.

Medicaid will be on you like a bee on honey! They will have you re certify every 6 months and through your SS# will know your earnings. If you are above by 1 cent they will cut your benefits and the fight begins. I would think long and hard before doing something that can kick you in the butt at the end(no pun intended!)

In other words - you think someone's commiting welfare/medicaid fraud? If the powers that be find out this person is commiting fraud - they WILL lose it right away and possibly be sued, or prosecuted.
