All pets require food and water-
The best pet for you would probably be a pet rock..

If you seriously feel that you would really care about a pet, can afford to take it to the vet whenever it needs, will keep its environment very clean, will buy the best food you can for it, and do all you can to make sure it is safe and well cared for, then you would probably be a good candidate for a pet.
If you do NOT feel that you can love a pet and do all those things for it, but still want one, then I know the perfect pet for you:
Turn your TV on to the Animal Planet channel and pretend that your TV screen is the glass front of a tank.
....and clean your room. It looks like a bloody jungle in there!

Well obviously you aren't getting a mammal since you don't want fur or feathers. Get an iguana. Oh and all animals need a lot of water- they need it to live just like they need food. Or maybe a pet rock- they don't require water, don't have fur or feathers, and don't need any attention.

Maybe you can try something small, like a hermit crab or a hamster. Even though hamsters have fur, they are small and fairly easy to take care of. If you are in to reptiles, maybe you could get a lizard or a small garden snake. Another popular pet is a turtle because they stay small and live a long time. I hoped this helped :)

no fur or feathers lives in a tank with little water!?! that only leaves snakes, lizzards and bugs. good luck with that and why did you post this in birds if you don't want one? and i agree with the others that a pet rock might be the right "pet" for you.

My son just got a hermit crab and loves it. They live in a tank and are very easy to care for. Not the most attractive, cuddly thing but very low maintenance.
We also used to have a russian tortoise which was also very easy. He lived off of romaine lettuce.
Check out the pet store, they have lots of small pets.

Animals that live in a tank usually have to be heat regulated, so you would have to get a heat lamp or heat rock. Lizards, Snakes, Spiders, Bugs.
They also have hairless dogs, cats you can look into getting. Are you allergic, or just lazy?

you should ask this question in general pets or in reptiles. asking in birds and then specifying no feathers .yikes.
snakes have very low needs but a better lizard would be a bearded dragon.

My mum further my previous hamsters in to her kindergarten type and the babies fairly enjoyed it; Hamsters are particularly low maintenance and weren't bothered (From what i understand) via the noise. the only detrimental is that hamsters are nocturnal and somewhat once or twice sleep the day away which makes them somewhat much less exciting, if no longer much less distracting.

All I could think of is a reptile such as a hermit crab. If that isn't what you want, may I suggest a pet rock?
