He seems to have:

John 15:6
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

The bad news is we are under a death penalty for repeatedly breaking God's moral laws (the 10 Commandments).

We are all going to die anyway, so what's the big deal?

Yes we will all die sooner or later and Hell is the grave, but the big deal and the "good news" is we are all going to be raised up again and those who believe in the saving grace of the blood Christ shed for us on the cross will be made clean in God's sight and given eternal life.

Those who rejected God and refused Jesus' free gift of life will go back to their previous dead state, be cremated in the fire and simply cease to exist.

This is what the Bible calls "The Second Death". There is no coming back from that death because you are no more, there is nothing left of you to resurrect. That is why it is called an "eternal punishment".

But you are not tortured for all eternity like many churches teach, you can't torment a body and soul that no longer exists.

Eternal torment in the fire is what happens to Satan, the Antichrist and his false prophet. Everyone else who was not saved by believing in Christ is instantly and humanely cremated in the fire and in a flash not a single atom of you exists anymore.

Now you may not like that, but it's your choice and God went to great lengths to give you a way out because it does not please him that any should perish, but justice must be done to those who have broken his law and refused the lifeline he offered you that would have saved you. I guess there's not a huge difference between that biblical fate and what atheists teach about when you are dead you are dead and that's it.

Well you have 2choices, Heaven or Hell YOUR choice. And when you give , it should be from your heart, and He says, you will get it back 7 times fold, try it it works. And that Jerk you are talking about is my Lord, my savior, and my redeemer and died own the cross because of people like you and for people like you. People like you got him crucified and to this day , you are still crucifying Him. go figure, But it is my duty as a believer that Jesus is the Son of God, to tell you this, Their is a hell and their is a heaven, and we all Have to Die some day, and YOU and ME and ALL are going to face Him. when you walk that LAST walk through the valley of the shadow of death. But see you have a choice, and what you chose is up to you. And only You. But Who ever you are I am asking you to please not referee to My, Our Lord this way . It hearts my heart, to know that he died for you...and you have chosen to deny Him and confuse others, ....Fact:s Heaven or Hell...And the true death sin is to deny Him and have others to deny Him, Shame own you...and others like you. It makes me sick, because a big miortiy of people think you have to be perfect to pray, that's crazy and they think that if you go to church you have to be label perfect. wrong. But denying Him. what good dose that do...and what is the Purpose behind it?....I know your purpose..because the ones who openly deny Him. Are of the antichrist.

He didn't say it EXACTLY like that, but He did say, "I am the Way the Truth and the Life. NO man commeth to the Father but by Me."

That means He is the ONLY Way.

And Jesus spoke more about hell than he spoke about heaven while He was teaching. Why? Because He was warning His followers so they wouldn't end up there.

Please take heed!

Actually, it appears that particular passage was mistranslated by the compilers of the King James Version of the Bible.

The original phrase in ancient Aramaic was, " You will go to San Francisco if you don't believe in me."

The thought of going to Hell is scary enough, but being consigned to San Francisco for all eternity is terrifying !

So you better watch your step, Sparky ! :-)

Jesus said, "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."

And to unbelievers he said, "The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify that what it does is evil."

this is what Christ said..."I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through Me." it's up to you to believe or not believe...the fact that He provided a way for us to live a life in peace and joy, and to spend eternity in heaven is EXACTLY what i call "good news". I'm not one to say 'this one or that one is going to hell'-i'm not qualified OR called to sit in judgment over ANYONE...that is between you and God.

Neither god nor jesus said that.....human beings invented that rule in order to scare others into believing and following all the rules and commandments or whatever.....scare tactics is all it is, nothing more.

If there actually were a god....do you think he would be that needy and insecure?

That is the beauty of it...you have free will....you get to choose whom you will serve....Jesus, who loved you so much he died on the cross for your sins so that you could have eternal life....or the God of this world who wants to take you to Hell with him...he doesn't care one bit about you. Tough choice? Not for me...Me and my house, we will serve the Lord....
