The federal government now requires the credit reporting agencies to provide everyone with one free credit report per year. This site was set up by the three major agencies and gives you a free report. It is the only one I know of that does not try to sell you something. However I don't know if it will give you your credit score for free, that is different than a credit report. https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp

AnnualCreditReport.com is the site set up to process your annual free credit reports from each credit bureau. All the other sites, including FreeCreditReport require you to sign up for their monitoring services for a 30 day free trial, which is very difficult to cancel.
The credit reports are free but you will have to pay for your score -- $6 to $8. There are no sites that offer free credit scores.

Go to "annual credit report . com...Do NOT got to any free credit report companies..They are a scam. There is a site called "Buyer scams" that is in the making. You might want to check out some of thier information. Buyer scams . com
