Even when there is a wine glass available she would choose a tall drinking glass like something you would use to drink milk out of when you were a kid. I'm just wondering if anyone else thinks this is "trashy" or weird. Cheers!!

Long as she doesn't drink from the toilet....damn you are too picky....either way she gets drunk enough to take her clothes off

You may think it's weird for your age but I don't. I was about 17 when I started to get more into wine & steer away from spirits. Wine is much more enjoyable to drink as the wine tells a story. Vodka makes you forget the story. And as you said, it's fun to taste the wine & match it to certain foods. I'd rather enjoy one glass of heavenly wine once a week than go waste myself on beer. So no, it is not weird. It is cultured.

It really depends on the wine, if its cask wine and she is putting it in a glass she is doing a bit better than some. If she is filling it to the top and just drinking it to get drunk. Then in my opinion its trashy but most people my age its just what you do.

She has no appreciation of wine, but just wants to drink as much as possible. If this is her only fault, why not bring over a wine glass next time you are at a party or even at home?

It is a little weird and a tee it trashy. Maybe she doesn't realize the wine glass is designed to give her the maximum taste out of wine? Have you explained this to her?

Most likely that's just what she's used to. Really as far as it goes there no real difference other than appearances. Best to just ask her, then you'll know for sure.

not at all, they have new "stemless" wineglasses available now that look just like regular drinking glasses
