Depends on the place. If you are in a bar, or other public establishment then you're not allowed in there if you're under age. Although the establishment would be in more trouble than you for that.

In a private party I don't think they can charge anyone as long as nobody is letting you drink.

I don't think you can get charged, unless your town has a curfew and you're out past it. The party thrower can be charged for having a minor at a party serving alcohol.

if you are the party HOST and you are serving minors under 21 years of age, you can DEFINITELY be charged... even with corrupting the morals of a minor if the cops so want to charge you but usually it's SERVING ALCOHOL TO MINORS... Also, if you are ALLOWING someone with you to drink and you are 21 and over but they are NOT.....supplying alcohol to minors...

As a young gal once said, " I get high on life" . School mate she was always happy. She pasted away before the age of 50. I don't know why.
