I hear all the time, the father son and holy ghost.
Even if you downplay it to 2 deities, the father and son, its still multiple gods.
How do rectify your ignorance about your religion.
At least pagans are honest about the plurality of their deities.
How about showing some genuine sincerity in your answer, Christianity.

Why do you say it's polytheistic when it's without a doubt monotheistic? First you have to believe in Our Father as the Creator of everything, The Alpha and The Omega. God created everything. He is Almighty. Why wouldn't He be able to manifest Himself in different forms? If you don't believe He can do that, then you don't believe He's Almighty.

God Bless.

That is an incorrect assessment of the trinity doctrine. There is One God who is comprised of 3 components. It is like havine One car made up of a chassis, an engine, and a transmission. These are 3 distinctly different parts with different functions, but comprise only One car. Of the trinity doctrine there are various interpretations as to what that means... I really don't worry about it... there is simply One God who is the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. This can be a difficult concept for us carnal humans to fully understand because of the spiritual dimensions that are beyond our ability to understand.

First, let me be clear on one thing. I am a Hellenic PAGAN.

Your tone alone in this question was enough to make me angry in that you should know better than to come here with that kind of bitterness and expect not to get some people attributing the bitterness to Pagans in general.

In your research about your Gods have you never come across the concept of ASPECTS? The three faces of the Christian Trinity can be considered to be three aspects of the same God. Just as Zeus had his Celestial and Chthonic aspects, and Apollo was honored as both the bringer of Light and the bringer of PLAGUES, the Christian God can have more than one side to Him.....

God is an eternal family of self-giving life and love between The Father and The Son, their love is so real that it is the person of the Holy Spirit. In marriage, our earthly families are made in the image and likeness of the perfect and true family: The Holy Trinity! In marriage, when the man and women give their love and life to eachother through sex, they become "one flesh"-their child. We can know who God is and live out his life and love in our families. God bless.

that's because your referring ALL 3 of them as 1 deity. the 3 are parts of this 1 diety. I refer to you as "M", not "M's" brain, M's heart, M's body. get it?

by the way, I saw how you referred to all christians as stupid idiots. Nice 0% best answer percentage, by the way.

Three whos in one what. God is God, Creator, Sustainer; Jesus is fully God and was fully man. God in human form; Holy Spirit was given to us to assure us God, Jesus is with us forever and ever. Father, Son, Holy Spirit = Trinity. One God of which there are 3 parts.

Poor example: One apple pie cut into 3 slices.

It is montheism. God the father, God the son, and God the Holy Ghost are all faces of the same being. I think of it almost as qualities or skills. I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, and a sister all at the same time. It is difficult sometimes to understand God, but I don't see how that is a surprise. I mean He is God afterall.

Someone is bound to tell you it is a 3 in 1 type personality, that can split himself from a spirit to the flesh to a godly state whatever that is.

because it's not monotheistic the second you call Jesus son of God. They can word it anyway they want, and it doesn't change the fact. When Jesus was calling to God on the cross was he calling to himself, but that can't be, he's one. Jesus was a prophet of God, get over it. He didn't die for anyone's sins.

You my friend are slightly confused. Here ya go.

God is the soul.
Jesus is the face.
The Holy Spirit is the voice.

All three parts make one God. It is just like your body. You have arms, legs, eyes, feet, torso, heart. All parts do a job and all parts make up the whole.

Simple as pie.

{:-) Peace & God bless from Texas. <><
