we all love chocolate and sweets....intake of carbs increase your cravings for sugar (try to stay away from eating alot of bread, potatoes, pasta). The best way to keep your blood sugar in balance is to eat six small meals throughout the day. Never skip meals, as this will through your blood sugar out of balance. I found this website that lists foods that you can eat that prevent sugar cravings.

Get a health bar that has a chocolate in it, Slim Fast and others make them. The best way to curb your sweet tooth is to cut out sugars from your diet all together. It's a vicious cycle the more you eat the more you crave. Good luck

Find something sweet and healthy to replace it. Something like fruit, but it's true. Fruit doesn't always work for chocolate cravings. Look in your local health food store and ask around for what people like. It is possible to eat sweet and eat healthy.

If you cannot avoid your favorite chocolate bar, go ahead and eat it. Just don't eat it in excess. Don't have it completely available. If you have candy sitting ob your coffee table, yeah you are going to eat it. Put it away and only reach for it when you need it. Try something healither. There are a lot of options, so ask someone at your health food store. :)

Hope this helps.

You and I are in the same boat! This is my situation. I stopped drinking period. And I have noticed the increase in my need for sweets. I eat approximately 1 7.5 oz box of Crunch 'n Munch a day! Additionally, just before my cycle - I have coupled that to 2 boxes. I used to have a penchant for 'butterscotch' and would eat about a bag every two days. Last week, I ate almost one half of a Smith's Key Lime Pie by myself. My daughter baked a cake and I know I ate about 5 pieces of that. I just bought some Dove cookies and had four of them last night. I am working on my second box of Crunch n Munch right now. I like my coffee and tea sweet and I drink very few sodas. I wish I had the answer, but I am going to be really paying attention to the answers you receive. (I also chew ICE! I was doing about three cups per day. Now it's two) I 'hate' to say what 'they' say all this leads to because I refuse to accept the possiblity of any kind of 'disease in my body'. But I'm going to read any advise you get. Best of luck to both of us.....Good question.

Like any addiction try cutting down on over a period of time, until there is a time that your body no longer needs large amounts of sweets.
