have you ever picked up dry contact lens, soaked it up in solution for a couple of hours and put it in your eyes.

lol...she tried it and then she took it off...and i don't know how jealousy and having my sister infect her eyes is going to do any good for me..and she dropped one of her contact in the sink and she searched for another that was dried up....but whatever...guess she has to buy new ones....

Soft Contacts are "Hydrophilic" meaning "water-loving" So if it dried out, soaking it in water is fine, saline would have been better. She will risk increased chance of infection, however, worse things have happened.

I don't wear contacts, but I'd be concerned about infection in these circumstances. Wouldn't it be better to get a clean set? Unless the dry set was in a hygenic location, of course.

Nope, I always have extra contact-lenses. You should change them as your Dr prescribed. Otherwise you can seriously hurt your eyes.
