I am a very smart student but the problem is that where I am seated the guys around me make me laugh and I keep getting in trouble by the teacher and I don't like getting in trouble by the teacher and now I sit somewhere else but the guys seated around me now are still more funny! My point is, do you have any good strategies that will keep me from talking and getting in trouble with my teacher? Please help before I get sent to the principals office and before they call my parents!

it's good that you have friends and your class and there's nothing wrong with talking to them....at the right time. you should let them all know that you're serious about doing good in the class & to limit the joking during class.
some people would say, "just don't laugh!" but i understand thats really hard when you're around a bunch of funny guys :)
so "don't joke" would be better

I don't know what grade you are in but if you are having problems talk to your teacher and ask if there is another seat
they can move you to. Make a suggestion to sit around someone else who is quiet. Better to address the problem now than later. You can also talk to your parents ahead of time and see what they suggest

well it seems to me that you get distracted pretty easily. there is no good strategy on keeping you from talking,or laughing at your classmates you just have to do it. One thing teachers do not like is having their class distracted by the students so I suggest you change your seat one more time before the teacher brands you as a distraction

Talk to the teacher and ask if you can sit in a different seat.
