At my work it is very important to have a good impression. I am in charge to take care of the people who need aid. Try to attend the clients with product information that is in the store. I get pay by commission for that reason I try to convince the clients that is the best product out there. The best thing of my work is that the client must leave the store satisfied.

I hope this works for you,,,,,,

The above answers are some good ideas. You may talk about when you leave to work, how many employees you have and if you have benefits.

Also, you can describe the dress codes: casual, 'dressy' if it is an upper class type business, maybe you have 'casual Fridays', you may have a automated lunch room there, you may have and exercise room or a 'quiet room' for breaks, naps, etc. You may discuss that you have some really good workers, but some are not so good, because... You will learn to fill in those 'loose' idle moments with some 'fill-in'. Don't forget to include something funny, because this will make you more comfortable and your listeners will be more at ease!

You only need to write down your ideas on paper, put them in some kind of order and speak to yourself in front of a mirror to practice what you are going to say. Do that A LOT, if it is that oral presentation! I had to give one on vegetarianism for 2 minutes. Time yourself when you practice so that you will KNOW when that 2 mins., or what ever is UP.
Buena suerte!

How about being a travelling salesman and trying
to sell your wares all over the world? Tell briefly
about some of the wild adventures you've had.

You could talk about how you sell things (vende...what do you sell? apples (manzanas?), houses (casas)?)
You would probably wear a suit (traje) or dress (vestido) - I didn't notice if you were male or female!) have an office (oficina), maybe an assistant (ayudante)? You might make phone calls (llamar por telefono) to customers (clientes) or travel (viajar) to meet with them. Of course there would be the very important meetings (reuniones)!!

That's a tough one!

The answer he gave you was wrong, I'm gonna correct it:
Soy comerciante.
EL CLIENTE es muy importante en mi negocio.
Vendo las cosas que la gente necesita para el hogar, el negocio, la escuela etc.
Necesito IR vestido bien.
Siempre sonriendo. Y el CLIENTE siempre TIENE LA RAZÓN.

You could also say:
Tengo un negocio de muebles, cada día trabajo 8 horas, partido en dos turnos de 4 horas cada uno.
Tengo a 3 empleados trabajado para mí, yo me dedico sobretodo a revisar el almacén y las cuentas.
(translation:
I have a furniture shop, everyday I work 8 hours, divided in two turns of 4 hours. I have 3 people working for me, I usually review the stock and accountancy).

Hope it helps
