I agree, beans are an excellent source of protein. Try hummus (made of chickpeas) and GF crackers. Being vegetarian rules out meat recommendations, but I hear tofu is a good source, but Im not sure.

Vegemite? OK I was just kidding. It sounds horrid! How about soy products? Do they contain gluten? I am not a vegetarian, but I like soy cheese a lot!

Protein is easily sourced in beans, nuts, seeds, whole grains (in your case non-gluten ones like buckwheat and spelt), brown rice, tofu and other soy products, and in vegetables.
