You have a much better chance at a higher level of education in a private school. Public schools are dangerous, and distracting.
I'm sure your mom has taken this into consideration, and I highly doubt that she has you in a private school just to make you miserable. She wants the best education for you, and when you "Grow-Up" you will be glad of it, because your chances of attending a prominent university will also be better.
If you just can't seem to fathom that, then you're being rather selfish because you really haven't taken into consideration that your mom is serious about your being able to procure a good job, and I sure wish the hell my mom had done the same for me.
Because people dress like preppies does not make them stuck-up jerks, and you are stereotyping an entire group for what you think of one or two.
If you have the opportunity to go to a private school. you should thank your lucky stars, because too many never got the chance at a decent education when they were young.
JMHO. And my experienced opinion.

you need to show your mom this post on yahoo answers, Tell her you got so worked up you decided to ask people on here for advice, instead of going straight to her for help. In the mean time try to just be yourself around those "preppie" people. Sometimes being different is interesting to other people are all "the same" (that is mainstream). If people still treat you harshly try to not focus on the negativity. Being miserable won't last forever trust me, things always get better. But ya, start by talking to your mom about the reasons why you want out, and show her this post.

Have you told your Mom how miserable you are and how you have no friends? I know that if my son were this miserable, I would do anything to change the situation, unless the public schools in your area are just not safe or poor. Is there another private school in your area, if your Mom insists on private schools? Is there a Charter school in your area? Please have a serious sit down with Mom and tell her that you have to change schools but also listen to her side. Stay calm but make your point.

Look don't be sad. I know it is hard for you to be in that school, but hey cheer up. Everyone in this world is different I'm sure that if you took the time to get to know people you would have some friends. Don't worry. If you every have problems with this again after a week and you are still miserable. Email me or say something back ok. I hope you'll be ok.

Why did your mom want you to go to a private school? Were you having problems in the public school and she wasn't sure what to do? She may feel this setting offers more for you with your needs. Talk to your mom about it, but ultimately it is up to your mom. Is there a counselor at the school that you can discuss your concerns? The counselor may have ideas to help you in dealing with this.

Ah, you are speaking my language. I went to Galloway (many years ago) but alot of the people there were from Lovett, etc...and told horror stories of the abuse endured. Instead of trying to tell your mom how horrible the school is try doing research on some good schools - Like Paidea or Galloway - I know Galloway has changed a lot, a whole lot, since I was there, but it is still a good school. Try to convince her on the merits of the other schools and maybe you can switch next quarter.

Enroll in Georgia Virtual Academy.

They will let you finish your education there and you won't have to deal with the school problems you are having now. They will provide you with the computer, books, printer, supplies, teachers etc. You will graduate the same as you would at any public or private school. Very good luck !

im really sorry, it sounds awful
the stomach problems are coming from the stress your getting and the way that your handling it.
just think about this, your in a school where EVERONE is the same. preppy, flawless, popular.
This is a perfect chance to become yourself! i know this sounds cheesey, but all you have to do is ignore them and strut your stuff at school.
wear your favorite colors, get a hair cut that is cute and totally different, wear some clothes that just say "BAM! here i am!"
that is what makes people popular and fun to be around. to be unique and different and know who they are.
talk to people in your classes about relevant stuff and be HAPPY. if you act miserable then people will just reflect the way you act back at you.
and who cares what they say anyways?
who wants to be a follower when you can be a leader??!

you need to tell your mom that it would be best for your mental and physical health to remove you from that school and place you into a regular public school, oh and to alleviate your stress and anger just go find something inatimate to hit until you feel better you just swear profusley thats what i do of course i become more violent but it helps
