Hi,Until you can get the frontline I would comb her daily with a flea comb.I use frontline,it's brilliant stuff it completely got rid of the fleas on my kitten.I also used Bob Martins flea bombs too,one for each room, these got rid of the fleas in my house. You need to be careful with string because the cat might swallow it. My kittens stays indoors good toys are things like supermarket carrier bags, boxes little balls and dangley things on the end of sticks, you can get these from pet shops and don't forget a good scratching post.

You may have a flea problem in your home by the time you use frontline - Take your cat out for the day and flea bomb your house if possible. In the mean time all flea products out there are fairly similar - go with Hartz until you get to the vet. I would also try putting moth balls in your vacuum bag and vacuum every other day- That will keep down the population and keep your house from getting too infested.

Personally my vet told me that frontline isn't the best to use for cats however in the meantime try a flea collar. those usually help the best. and be sure to treat your home so you don't get fleas.
Try various toys and see what the cat likes best.

It's $10 to get a flea treatment pack (single dose) from the vets, I think you can afford that instead of spending money on other options between now and then.

If she likes strings let her play with some...just tie something to it so she can't swallow it.
I would try to get the frontline ASAP...especially if you notice even 1 flea on her...otherwise you will be infested soon!!!!

If shes got flees get some flea bath treatment from the pet store. She'll hate it, but it works. You should also treat all the places she tends to lay with a good flea powder.......good luck!

wash her with a flee bath, bleach floors, and wash all apholstery, (dawn helps kill flees) in my opinion Advantage is better, that is what i use on my cats. A good cat toy would have to be mice, they go crazy for them
